Cloth
Dry clean only, and only when needed, using a specialist cleaner experienced with fine wool and tailored garments.
The cloth is a lightweight wool flannel and may crease with wear and travel. Hang the jacket and pass a steamer over it; the creases fall out and the cloth settles into its natural line.
Between wears, hang the jacket and let it rest, somewhere dry and away from direct sunlight and heat.
Alterations and repairs
If the jacket needs adjustment or a minor repair, contact us. We recommend working with a local tailor you trust: an in-person fitting is generally the quickest and most precise route, and we will reimburse the cost. Alternatively, we can arrange its return to New York at no cost.
Write to us before arranging any work so we can confirm the scope. Reimbursement follows on receipt of your tailor's invoice.
